Hi! We are Makii, a full-service toy design studio. From small enamel pins to giant colouring pictures, and from temporary tattoos to foldable books that stretch up to two meters wide: our products inspire kids to create their own worlds. We had the honour of helping awesome brands like ARTIS, NEMO Science Museum, Liverpool FC and RIJKSMUSEUM to engage with their youngest fans. We love working with organisations that can teach kids (and us) something about the world we didn’t know before. And we become even more devoted when collaborating with an impactful brand that gets kids excited for a brighter future.

From collaborations with social enterprises to partnerships with Dutch suppliers & from FSC certified products to solar-powered production facilities that re-use energy + water flows: our aim is to produce as local, social and sustainable as possible. On top of that, we donate 1% of our yearly turnover to SUMTHING, an organisation that works with nature-restoring parties worldwide. From restoring farmland in the Netherlands, to planting trees in Brazil and removing plastic from Cambodia’s coastal areas: SUMTHING empowers initiatives that tackle biodiversity-loss and pollution, whilst boosting local communities at the same time.
